Children's Mental Health Week - 1-7 February

Children's Mental Health Week is taking place from 1-7 February 2021.  The theme for this year is Express Yourself.

Expressing yourself is about finding ways to share your feelings, ideas or thoughts, through creativity.  This could be done in many different ways including art, dance, drama, music, writing, poetry and many other activities that make you feel good.

Being able to express yourself is not about being the best at something or putting on a show for others.  It is about showing who you are and how you see the world in a way that can help you feel good about yourself.

More information about Children's Mental Health Week and useful resources can be found at www.childrensmentalhealthweek.org.uk.  There will also be a virtual assembly at 9.00am on Monday 1st February featuring well-known faces discussing the theme for the week and ways that children and young people can get involved at home.

Don't forget to check out our Wellbeing newsletters, which are added to our Wellbeing and Mental Health page every Wednesday and please remember that we continue to be here to help and support you.
