Making empanadas

As part of our Colombian topic we made emapanadas, which is traditional food they eat at Christmas!

Aswell as many ingredients that are common to British cooking there were also some ingredients that are only found in America. These included sazon goya which gives them their colour and spice; precooked corn meal and cilantro which we latter found out is corriander.

They children had a great time making them but not everyone enjoyed eating them!
