Our school football season has kicked-off again for the year 5 and 6’s. We train on a Tuesday after school and play our matches on Thursdays.
Due to reasons beyond our control, we have only played 2 of the 5 league games we should have played by the October half-term – both resulting in hard-fought losses and we have also been knocked out of this years school Cup Competition.
We also played a friendly match against our neighbours Jennetts Park School. End-to-end attacking play from each team, but the defence players for both teams were on top-notch form, meaning there were very few shots on goal and we finished with an exciting 0-0 draw.
This now means that in-between February half-term and the Easter holidays, we have now got 16 matches to fit into 7 weeks. We’re going to be very busy!
