We have included some activities below to try and help give you some ideas for keeping active during the period of school closure. It is essential for both physical and mental health to keep active and it is important to maintain a healthy balance. We have tried to ensure that many activities do no require lots of equipment or need a lot of space and we hope you will enjoy trying them. Please feel free to adapt any of these activities as necessary to suite different ages and ability levels.
Many of you have been doing the Joe Wicks workouts on his YouTube channel every morning at 9.00am. Also on YouTube, there is The Kids Coach and Cosmic Kids Yoga, which both feature fitness and wellness videos for the children to enjoy. You might also want to check out PE Planning.org.uk, which is where we have downloaded some of these resources from.
