Our Year 3 Artists Exhibit at South Hill Park

Our Year 3 pupils have taken part in a brilliant art and health project led by local artist and educator Areej Abdi, in partnership with South Hill Park Arts Centre.

Their work is now featured in a professional public exhibition: Healthy Lifestyles, showing until 13 July at South Hill Park. The project used drawing and printmaking to help children explore nutrition, wellbeing and nature, with a focus on positive lifestyle choices.

Highlights of the project:

⭐ Creating Healthy Lifestyle Superhero characters
⭐ Learning cyanotype printing techniques
⭐ Showcasing original artwork in a real gallery

Mr Andy Johnson, Director of Education at Maiden Erlegh Trust, attended the exhibition and saw our pupils’ fantastic contributions on display.

This project is a collaboration between South Hill Park, NHS Public Health and Bracknell Forest Borough Council, and the exhibition will tour the community from September 2025.
