Great Hollands Primary School recognised by Secretary of State for national outcomes

Great Hollands Primary School has received formal recognition from Bridget Phillipson, Secretary of State for Education, for the outcomes achieved by our pupils at the end of the 2024/25 academic year.

In a letter to our Headteacher, Mr Ferris, the Secretary of State described the outcomes achieved by our school as placing it among the very best nationally. She recognised the dedication and professionalism of staff, alongside the hard work, persistence and commitment shown by our pupils.

This recognition reflects the consistent work taking place in classrooms every day, high expectations for all pupils, and the care taken to ensure children are supported to learn well and make strong progress over time.

It also acknowledges the importance of collaboration and sharing effective practice across the education system, helping to raise standards more widely.

We would like to congratulate our pupils and staff on this national recognition and to thank families for their continued support and partnership, which underpins this work. We would also like to acknowledge the support of colleagues across Maiden Erlegh Trust who have worked alongside the school during this journey.
