Using the Internet can be a lot of fun and is a very good way to stay in touch with friends and family.  It is also a great way to learn new things - but it can be harmful and dangerous - to you and others.

Help is always available if you are having problems, including when things are happening online.  You may also want to talk about things you may see online and how they have made you feel.  Don't be afraid to talk to a teacher or other trusted adult at school, your parents and carers, or an older sibling.

We have a separate page with information for parents and carers, it can be found here.

The links below contain lots of information about keeping yourself safe online: have pages for different age ranges so you can learn more about keeping safe online.
